Campus Furniture Exchange

A student-first marketplace with a smaller trust boundary.

The platform is designed mainly for college students and trusted student organizations. Email eligibility and campus-based browsing reduce exposure to unnecessary scam accounts, but they do not replace your own judgment.

  1. 01

    Verify your email

Email domains on the reviewed U.S. college list and approved student-ministry domains are eligible automatically. Other email addresses need an Administrator to add them to the Whitelist.

  2. 02

    Enter your ZIP code

We use a locally stored ZIP-to-city reference to match you with a nearby campus community. If that community is new, the platform creates it automatically.

  3. 03

    Post or browse

Add an item with up to three photos, or browse affordable and free furniture in your campus area. Never put an exact address or phone number in a public post.

  4. 04

    Message and meet safely

Keep plans in the platform, inspect before paying, meet in a safe place, and use Report an issue if anything feels wrong.

Share beyond the marketplace

Take your furniture posts wherever students already talk.

Your public posts link gives friends, classmates, group chats, and student organizations one easy page for all of your current posts.

  1. 1

Open “Share posts.” Find it in the top navigation after you log in, or choose “Share all your posts” in My Activity.

  2. 2

Choose where to send it. On a phone, select Messages or any installed social app. On a computer, the public link is copied for you to paste anywhere.

  3. 3

Keep posting normally. The same link automatically shows your currently published or reserved posts and removes posts that are ended, sold, or expired.

Who can use it

Automatic access where identity is easier to verify

  • Email domains for 219 reviewed U.S. colleges. A generic .edu ending alone is not enough. Listed base domains include student subdomains.
  • Verified ministries such as @ifiusa.org, @cru.org, @bridgesinternational.com, @intervarsity.org, @navigators.org.
  • Other accounts only after an Administrator adds the exact email to the Whitelist.
Check the eligible-school list

If an automatically eligible or Whitelisted account causes problems, an Administrator can place it on the Blacklist. Blacklist status always overrides domain eligibility.

Every user-facing identity includes the verified email ending, such as @osu.edu. Other users and public listing visitors can see the ending, but not the part of the email before @.

Delivery Help eligibility

Only for International Friendship, Inc. students

A requester must confirm that they are currently served by International Friendship, Inc. The server then checks the verified email ending against the IFI service domains maintained by an Administrator. If it does not match, the request is refused even when the user says they qualify.

Reports and disputes

Human-controlled decisions

Reports are handled through the Administrator website. The owner may use a separate AI assistant to organize evidence while reviewing a dispute, but this platform does not make automated AI decisions or give an AI system direct account access. Administrators remain responsible for the final action.
